Bill is the Founder of Emergis. He developed the concept of “a New Generation in Global Merchant Banking” – a more holistic and transparent approach to solving challenging corporate strategy and liquidity issues. Bill has spent three years planning Emergis’ market launch, recruiting a world-class cadre of business transformation professionals, investment bankers, thought leaders and asset managers.

Bill has over 30 years experience as an international legal and finance executive – at operational and Board levels. His background includes in-depth experience in high profile distressed companies, crisis management, restructurings, liquidations and M&A – principally in the financial services, insurance & global telecommunications sectors – dealing with diverse stakeholder/creditor groups, complex financial restructuring and governance issues.
